Public Relations Office for Jenda Police, MacFarlane Mseteka has confirmed the development and said that,the seven were arrested on 22 July, for their suspected involvement in a violent mob incident that occurred in Ehehleni on July 05, 2023.

Mseteka said the incident led to the tragic deaths of two unidentified individuals who were suspected of stealing ten goats and in the process setting on fire two vehicles the suspected thieves used.

All the seven come from the area of Traditional Authority Mzikubola in Mzimba District.
