Chakwera Pardoned Mussa

President Lazarus Chakwera has pardoned veteran politician and former  information Minister Henry Mussa on medical grounds.
Mussa was sentenced to 9 years imprisonment for conspiring and receiving stolen property contrary to section 404 and section 328 of the Penal Code.
Minister of Homeland Security Kenneth Zikhale Ng’oma has since confirmed the development.
Ng’oma further disclosed that Mussa has been pardoned together with 10 other prisoners who were chronically ill.
Mussa, was arrested in 2020 on allegation of stealing computers and generators meant for District Information Offices across the country
