Mangochi Police has disclosed that the station has managed to complete  93 percent of cases registered within the six-months’ period.

A bi-annual report for Mangochi police station shows the station has completed 318 cases out of 343 cases registered by police prosecution in the first six months and 254 were disposed with conviction.

According Public Relations Officer for Mangochi Police Station, Amina Tepani Daudi, the station now has 25 outstanding cases.

She has assured the public that police officers in Mangochi will continue protecting life and property through its’ justice delivery role.

The police, however, are advocating for maximum penalties in court as they believe that would help make Mangochi a crime-free zone.
