The new Tanzania High Commissioner to Malawi Agnes Kayola has presented her Letters of Credence to President Dr Lazarus Chakwera at the Kamuzu Palace in Lilongwe.

Kayola who will be based in Malawi, inspected a guard of honor mounted by the Malawi Defense Force (MDF) before proceeding to meet President Chakwera.

The new Tanzanian envoy has been accompanied to the Kamuzu Palace by Minister of Foreign Affairs Nancy Tembo.

Malawi and Tanzania established diplomatic relations in 1964 and the two countries have been working together in different sectors of the economy.
