The Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST) has been ranked as the best university in Malawi.
This is according to latest rankings released by the Times Higher Education (THE) inaugural Sub-Saharan Africa University.
The rankings indicate that the university, which opened its doors in 2014 has excelled in research, teaching and societal impacts.
According to a statement that THE has issued, MUST has also been ranked the 29th best university in Sub-Saharan Africa, among 88 universities in 20 countries.
MUST Vice Chancellor Address Malata was excited with the news, describing it as encouraging.
