Approximately 30 students, including some MSCE candidates, have been suspended from Ntchisi Private Secondary School for allegedly causing disturbance on campus last Friday night.
Peter Gamula, the school’s proprietor, stated that the students reportedly removed the main gate for unknown reasons.
In adherence to the school’s disciplinary policies, the suspension was imposed.
The suspended candidates will only be allowed to return to campus during the upcoming Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB) exams, scheduled to begin on the 27th of this month.
However, one of the suspended students, Chiyanjano Kambwembwe, explained that they had only sought clarification from the authorities regarding changes in the meal provision when the incident occurred.
