Police in Mzuzu have picked Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Director of Operations Joe Thomas Nyirongo for questioning in relation to a robbery case that occurred in the city Wednesday night.

Mzuzu Police Public Relations Officer, Paul Tembo has confirmed the development. He said the law enforcers are still investigating the matter.

The robbery in question took place in the city near Thukuta House, where some robbers went away with cash from a taxi passenger attacked by some robbers.
