Police in Chiradzulu have arrested two people for allegedly killing a 25 year-old-man over a sex worker.

District’s police spokesperson Constable Cosmas Kagulo has identified the deceased as Mavuto Liphama while the suspects are Mphatso Labana l,18 and Maxwell Kadaya, 20 all from Traditional Authority (TA) Likoswe in the district.

Police said the deceased was beaten and left unconscious by the two suspects last week after he went to a certain drinking joint where he had a relationship with a certain sex worker.

The victim was rushed to Nguludi Mission hospital before being referred to Queen Elizabeth hospital where he died today while receiving treatment.

Post-mortem has revealed that death was due to internal head injuries subject to assault, according to police.
