Former President Peter Mutharika held an audience with three fired Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) top officials from the Northern Region at PAGE house in Mangochi.

Three namely Ackim Mwanza, Joyce Chikukula and Kelvin Chirambo were fired from the party for allegedly insubornation, according to DPP Vice President for the North Goodall Gondwe.

The three are seeking the reinstatement of their posts which they believe were taken away illegally.

But sources privy to the meeting say APM made it clear to them that, they are no longer members of the regional committee.

The three officials are yet to comment on the matter.
