Sad As Zimbabwean Woman Is killed On Way To Job Interview, Body Found 2 Weeks Later

A Chitungwiza woman, Define William, was found dead in Msasa on Saturday after being reported missing since April 17. According to her sister, Amalia William, Define had left for a job interview at a big company in Msasa and had collected US$50 from a local money agent in the CBD before going missing.

The family had reported the matter to Harare Central Police Station as a missing person case (IR 041641). Amalia said that Define’s mobile phone became unreachable after she collected the money. The family later learned that the phone had been sold to a man in Epworth.

Police investigations led to the discovery of Define’s decomposed body after the alleged culprit was apprehended. A close source revealed that the suspect had killed Define and taken everything, including the US$50.

According to the source, the suspect wrestled with Define just after she disembarked from a motor vehicle at the bus stop in Msasa.
