A man named Limbanazo Joseph has tragically passed away in a road accident on the Mulanje-Luchenza road.

Mulanje Police Station Public Relations Officer, Innocent Moses, has confirmed the details of the accident.

The accident involved a Mercedes Benz lorry that hit Joseph while the driver was trying to avoid a stationary vehicle. The lorry swerved to the right and hit Joseph, causing severe head injuries.

He was rushed to the Mulanje District Hospital, but unfortunately, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Joseph hailed from Namale village, Traditional Authority Mthiramanja in Mulanje District.
