A Health expert has expressed excitement with progress made in raising awareness on the importance of vaccines.

The sentiments have been made as the country will be joining the rest of the world in commemorating the world immunization week which starts on the 24th of April to the 30th of April under the theme  The big catch up

One of the health experts in the country Professor Adamson Muula said  the country is one of the star performers in vaccine administration and  awareness according to statistics from around the world

He has since advised Malawians not to shy away from vaccine because they are safe and well researched before administration
