The Anti-Corruption Bureau has suspended recruitment of enumerators in three district councils over suspected corrupt acts.

ACB Public Relations Officer Egritta Ndala has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

According to Ndala, the three districts are Ntchisi, Dowa and Chiradzulu.

Ndala said the Bureau received complaints of alleged corrupt practices on the recruitment of enumerators for the 2023 Unified Beneficiary Registry exercise, hence the suspension.

Meanwhile, Ndala has said the Bureau has suspended the recruitment processes in all the three districts pending investigations.
