Drug fight Malawi (DFM) has challenged authorities to review drug policy in a bid to win battle against booming abuse of drugs and substances among youths.

This comes as the country continue to register high cases of drugs and substances abuse among youths despite multi-sectoral approach to contain the vice.

President for Drug Fight Malawi Nelson Zakeyu  has said that there is need to review country’s laws and set up policies that are inline with time.

Meanwhile one of the country’s youths activists Lucky Mbewe said there is need for government to fulfill its manifesto pledge on youths empowerment so that they are busy working rather than just staying which is also bad for the country to realize vision 2063.
