President Lazarus Chakwera is this morning expected to officially open the 2023 Tobacco Marketing Season.

The ceremony will be held at Kanengo Auction Floors in the capital Lilongwe.

According to information at hand, Chakwera is expected arrive at the venue anytime soon where he will inspect the tobacco bales.

After inspection Chakwera is expected to hold a rally outside auction floors.
