Blantyre, April 9 Mana: Tiwafikire Charity Foundation in partnership Malawi University Business Applied Science(MUBAS) students on Saturday held a fundraising Big walk in Blantyre to raise K15 Million to help 700 needy students from the institution.
In an interview with Malawi News Agency after the big walk, Managing Director for Tiwafikire Charity Foundation Amon Banda said that they decided to have the fundraising big walk to help student from MUBAS, as more students were on the verge of withdrawing from the university due to financial problems.
“We thought of holding this big walk to help MUBAS students, because most students are struggling to get funds for fees, food and accommodation.
