Zambian man nursing injuries after his wife hit him with a block when she came home with her boyfriend in a car

A man from Kabangwe in Lusaka is recovering from head injuries at the University Teaching Hospital (UTH) after his wife allegedly hit him with a block.

Nelson Ngulube, 49, claims that his wife, Nyawa Kapita Ngulube, 37, came home with her boyfriend in a car last Thursday between 7 pm and 8 pm and parked outside their matrimonial home.

When he asked her what she was doing in the car with another man, she responded by hitting him with a block on his head.

Ngulube said he had noticed a change in his wife’s behavior, but he never imagined she would go to the extent of having an extramarital affair.

His family is now calling on the Zambia Police to intervene in the matter.

Zambia Police Deputy Public Relations Officer Danny Mwale stated that they are currently searching for Nyawa Kapita Ngulube, who is on the run.

UTH Public Relations Officer Natali Mashikolo confirmed that Nelson Ngulube’s condition is stable
