Nsanje Police Arrest Primary School Teacher and Five Others for Alleged Burglary and Theft

Six suspects, including a primary school teacher, have been arrested by the Nsanje police for alleged burglary and theft of items worth millions of kwachas.

The district’s police spokesperson, Sub-Inspector Agnes Zalakoma, confirmed that the suspects were apprehended on Sunday night in Nsanje trading centre, following a tip-off from well-wishers.

Sub-Inspector Zalakoma stated that the police recovered three plasma television sets, two motorcycles, one bicycle, two home theaters, one mattress, five laptop bags, and one decoder.

She also revealed that investigations are still ongoing to apprehend the suspects’ accomplices.

The suspects will appear in court soon to answer burglary and theft charges.
