In a shocking incident, unknown assailants have killed 44-year-old Petronia Luhanga in her home in Khutamaji village under Traditional Authority Katumbi in Rumphi district.

Luhanga’s body was discovered by her relatives, who had become concerned after she failed to show up for a scheduled meeting.

According to reports, an autopsy conducted on Luhanga’s body revealed that she died from internal bleeding following an assault.

The motive behind the attack remains unclear at this stage, but authorities have launched an investigation.
