Police in Blantyre have arrested a woman identified as Temwa Lisa Blair Utonga for allegedly duping fellow women millions of kwachas.

Utonga went into hiding after duping several women.

The law enforcers were hunting her selling fake 10,000 fake Euros to one of the Forex bureaus in Mangochi,Liwonde, Nchalo, and Mulanje.

“Finally Lisa Temwa Utonga has been arrested in Blantyre and the arrest happened at 1:21pm when she was on a call with GCK Cameras, the call lasted for 27 seconds and the call was interrupted by the arrival of the detectives,” wrote Gerald Chavez Kampanikiza.

Utonga has since been transferred to Lingazi Police in the capital Lilongwe.
