The Cancer Survivor Quest has decried lack of adequate facilities to be the biggest blow in helping patients with cancer in the country.
This comes as the country continue to relay much on medical help for cancer from outside the country as the magnificent cancer center in Lilongwe is yet to be fully operationalized.
Director for Cancer Survivors Quest Chikhulupiliro Ng’ombe has said that there is need for government to come up with measures that would help the country to have enough cancer facilities to help in assisting patients.
According to Ng’ombe patients seeking radiotherapy are the most affected as they are forced to go outside the country due to lack of necessities.
