Information reaching this publication indicates that a police officer has been stabbed to death while on duty in Ntcheu.

The police officer identified as Sub Inspector Jonathan Ndindi (Badge No. A8357).

“A Police Officer, identified as Sub Inspector Jonathan Ndindi (Badge No. A8357) stationed at Lizulu Police Post in Ntcheu, has passed away after being stabbed with a knife on the left side of his chest.

“The incident occurred while he and three other police officers were apprehending a suspect named Dennis, whose full particulars are unknown,” said the source.
