Police in Balaka are keeping in custody four people suspected to have been behind burglaries in churches.
According Balaka Police Station Officer-in-Charge Dan Saunten the suspects, believed to have stolen properties from different churches in the district,

Saunten confirmed the arrest of the suspect following complaints from community members that the suspects were, among others, stealing public address systems in different churches.

The suspects will soon appear in court to answers charges of multiple breaks-ins once investigations are concluded.
