Mongu Resident Magistrate Wilfred Muma was allegedly reported to have committed suicide by throwing himself in the Zambezi River on Wednesday night at around 22 hours has been found alive.

Judge Muma was found by residents of Ndata Village in the early hours of today Thursday 2nd March 2023 while he stuck in the reeds in the middle of the Zambezi River.

At a time He attempted to take his life , Judge Muma was driving a white Toyota Hilux registration number GRZ 437 CX which he abandoned in the middle of the road along the Mongu-Kalabo road.

This incident occured at the main Lubosi Imwiko Bridge along the Mongu-Kalabo road.

He has since been rushed to Mongu Central Police Station by a team of Journalists from Prime TV and Zanis who picked him up.
