Death has been announced of veteran music producer Lemekeza Phiri.

According to information at hand, Phiri has died at a certain hospital in India where he was admitted for unknown illness.

His brother Jose has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

Phiri hailed from Ntcheu District.
