Unknown thieves have shot dead Asante Business Bureau cashier identified as Paul Mhango in the ever green city, Mzuzu.

Mzuzu Police spokesperson Paul Tembo has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press, saying the incident happened last night in Katoto Township.

According to Tembo, the thieves have since stolen huge sums of money.

Police have since launched a manhunt.
