The small community of Mangochi was rocked by tragedy last month when a well-known businessman, Idrisa Kassim, was found murdered and dumped in a shallow well within the township.

The 24-year-old from Chigwaja Village was doing his business at the Chiponde trading center when he was killed.

Despite an ongoing investigation, police have yet to make any arrests in the case.

However, Sub-Inspector Amina Tepani Daudi, the spokesperson for the Mangochi Police station, has stated that the investigation is at an advanced stage and that they expect to make arrests soon.
