40-Year-Old Guard Found Dead with Head Injuries in Chikwawa

In a tragic incident, a 40-year-old security guard at Ngabu Admarc in Chikwawa was killed by unknown criminals on Wednesday night.

Patrick Naisi, of Kaliza Village in the area of Traditional Authority Ngabu in Chikwawa District, was reported missing after he left to buy food from the Ngabu Trading Centre on his motorcycle.

The next morning, Naisi was found dead along the Ngabu-Nkumaniza earth road with head injuries.

According to Chikwawa police Public Relations Officer Dickson Matemba, Naisi was a security guard at Ngabu Admarc and had reported for duty as usual until 21:00 hours on the night of February 1st, 2023.

Upon receipt of the news of Naisi’s death, Ngabu Police Post detectives and medical personnel from the Ngabu Health Centre rushed to the scene.

A post-mortem examination confirmed that death was due to head injuries.

The unknown criminals involved in this case took away Naisi’s motorcycle, leaving behind heartbroken friends, family, and co-workers.

The Chikwawa police have launched an investigation into this matter and are appealing to anyone with information that could help in their investigation to come forward.
