Information reaching faceofmalawi indicates that Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Director general, Martha Chizuma has been interdicted.

Secretary to the Office of the President and Cabinet Colleen Zamba has confirmed of the development in a statement made available to faceofmalawi.

According to Zamba, Chizuma’s interdiction follows the criminal case which she is answering before the Lilongwe Chief Magistrate’s Court pertaining to the leaked audio.

The interdiction is with effect from 31st January 2023.

Chizuma is yet to comment on the matter.
