A self-proclaimed apostle, Raston Chikoti, has been arrested for allegedly taking $400 from a Zambian pastor.

The pastor, Mightwell Zimba, met Chikoti in Malawi in 2020 during a Bible study and later transferred the money for tents for his church.

However, Chikoti stopped communicating with Zimba after receiving the money.

Zimba’s relatives reported the case to the police, leading to Chikoti’s arrest.

There are reports that Chikoti has defrauded other church members in the past. The matter will be heard in court next month.
