Woman Gives Birth to Stillborn Baby in Ambulance, Lacks Medical Equipment and Personnel

A tragic incident occurred last night in Neno district, where a woman gave birth to a stillborn baby while in an ambulance with no medical personnel on board.

The woman was being referred to the district hospital when the ambulance got stuck on a muddy road at Nkodara, in the area of Senior Chief Dambe.

The ambulance driver had to assist the woman in her labor and deliver the baby.

According to an eyewitness, the ambulance was not equipped with any medical equipment, and the driver had to rely on his own knowledge and resources to assist the woman.

The woman is currently receiving treatment at the district’s main health facility.

This incident has raised concerns about the state of healthcare in the area and the availability of proper medical equipment and personnel during emergency situations.

Health authorities in Neno have yet to comment on the incident.
