Man killed, private parts chopped off in Nkhotakota

A man hunt has been launched for unknown assailants who have murdered a mentally disturbed man, Taliki Genda, 36, at Rajab Village along Nkhotakota-Salima M5 road.

Nkhotakota Police spokesperson, Paul Malimwe said the deceased left home on January 16 for Kalimanjira Trading Centre but did not come back.

“He was found dead in a nearby bush at Rajab Village on 17 January. It was discovered that his private parts had been cut off,” said Malimwe.

Postmortem revealed the death was due to suffocation secondary to strangulation.

The deceased hailed from Ngoma village in the Traditional Authority Malengachanzi in the district.
