Zambian Boy Takes Own Life After Parents Failed To Buy Him School Uniform

A 14-year-old Zambian boy only identified as Patrick, has allegedly taken his own life after his parents failed to to immediately buy him school requirements after qualifying to Grade Eight.

Patrick, who had scooped 712 marks at Grade Seven, asked his mother to buy him school uniforms and other requirements.

To his disappointment, his mother informed him that she was unable to buy his school requirements due to financial challenges she was going through.

The victim was asked to wait for two weeks.

This news did please him and decided to end his life.
