Save the Children, through the USAID Funded Titukulane project have embarked on a cholera awareness campaign whereby markets and schools are the main targets in Zomba district.

According to Titukulane Cholera response team member, Mwawi Mkandawire, Children in Primary schools should be trained to exercise hygiene to fight the disease.

In addition to that, Senior Health Surveillance Assistance for Machinjiri Centers, Rodgers Mitochi asked stakeholders to help with supplies hospitals affects by cholera.

The sensitization campaigns took place at Mchengawedi Primary School and Nsomba market in Zomba.
