Former Director of Youth in the United Transformation Movement (UTM) Bon Kalindo, popularly known as Winiko who is now into activisms has asked President Lazarus Chakwera and his Tonse Alliance administration to ‘pack and go’.
Kalindo said this during a media briefing held by his newly formed grouping called ‘Concerned Citizen’ at Grace Bandawe in Blantyre.
In his address, Winiko said strange diseases {such as Cholera} is a clear sign that God is angry with Chakwera’s leadership hence the need for him to ‘pack and go’.
Kalindo also cited AIP, NOCMA and Covid-19 scandals as some of the reasons why Chakwera must step down.
Born Kalindo has asked the donor community to impose economic sanctions on Malawi and issue travel bans to all Tonse Alliance top brass including President Chakwera for entrenched corruption that has caused untold misery to poor Malawians who are failing to eat three times a day as they promised during campaign.
He said President Chakwera has failed to tame corruption in the country as evidenced in the ACB Director Martha Chizuma raid by his police and the report of the inquiry is an assault to the fight against corruption in the country and the integrity of Malawians.
