A 65-YEAR-OLD man of Ngabwe district has allegedly been killed by an instant justice mob after a coffin of a 38-year old man led mourners to him.

The mourners attacked Dickson Siame on Wednesday around 14:00 hours in Kabukwa, accusing him of having killed Chibonili Chatewa.

Chief Ngabwe reported the death of Mr Siame to the police, who have since launched investigations into the matter.

Central Province police commanding officer Chileshe Mukuka said when Mr Chatewa’s coffin followed Mr Siame, mourners concluded he was a wizard and responsible for the former’s death.
