Matours bus still shocked with Walycris Wanyengo’s death

Matours International Bus Service has said it is still shocked with the death of fast rising musician Walycris Wanyengo real name Wyson Laifoh who died last week in Zimbabwe in road accident.

The bus company said this in a statement available on their official Facebook page.

“As a transport company we remain in shock and equally disturbed by the circumstances that led to the passing of our brother (Walycris),” read part of the statement.

The statement further communicated that the remains of Walycris Wanyengo will arrive in the country tomorrow for burial.

“We hereby notify all those that would like to pay their last respects to our beloved Walycris (the late) that the body will arrive in Malawi tomorrow for burial,” the statement read.

The statement continued; “We shall provide further updates with the guidance of the deceased family in relation to movement of the body from Mwanza border to the burial site and where the body will be laid to rest.”

Matours Bus added that they join the family of Walycris in mourning him whilst working and pushing for the movement of the body to its final resting place.

Walycris Wanyengo died last week on December 23, 2022 in a road accident in Zimbabwe involving a Matours bus on his way to Malawi from South Africa where he performed alongside Zembani Band.
