Lack of cars to transport fertilizer frustrating AIP initiative

The Minister of Agriculture, Sam Dalitso Kawale has admitted about transportation challenge of taking Affordable Input Programme (AIP) Fertilizer from its warehouse to selling points across the country.

According to Kawale there are now 300 more trucks involved in transportation of the inputs.

He also said, he asked people to bring their vehicles to take part with the transportation.

However, community members from Traditional Authority Masambankhunda in Lilongwe said it took them two weeks to access inputs at the selling points.
