A woman in her early 30s has taken her own life after her ex-husband refused to re-marry her, faceofmalawi can reveal.

The fact of matter is that the deceased and her ex-husband parted-ways in 2018 due to unknown reasons.

Barely weeks after the incident, the woman went back to her husband to ask for reconciliation but the husband refused.

The woman also approached family members of her husband to help out on the matter but this also proved futile.

The deceased then resorted in taking her own life.

Police are yet to comment on the matter.
