Lightning has killed three people and injured three others who are currently nursing burn wounds in Neno and Thyolo districts.

The accidents happened yesterday evening.

in Thyolo, a 7 year old boy has died while the brother aged 10 years got injured and he is at Thyolo District Hospital receiving treatment.

The two come from Mpedzu village in Sub-Traditional Authority (T/A) Maggie in the area.

Whereas, in Neno a mother and child has died and other two women are receiving treatment at Neno District Hospital.

The four come from Traditional Authority (T/A) Dambe in the area.

Authorities in the two districts are measuring the damage that has been caused by the hailstorms and led into lightning.
