The Malawi Sight Savers has requested government to adopt and approve the African Disability Protocol in the country.
The request was made yesterday on December 14th 2022. During the commemoration of the Disability Day at Namitengo Primary School, in the area of Traditional Authority (T/A) Ganya in Ntcheu.
According to Bright Chiwaula, the Sight Saver Country Director, this will help to promote and respect the rights of people with different incapacities in the country.
The theme of an event was the availability of accessible and incisive innovations in development.
Sight savers is an international charity working in Malawi to eliminate avoidable blindness and promote the rights of people with disabilities.
