S3x workers have narrated their ordeal to Minister of Unity and Civic Education Timothy Mtambo at the commemoration of International Human rights Day which underway in the capital Lilongwe.

According to the s3x workers’ association, they are subjected to human rights violation in the course of their work.

Among others, the s3x workers have complained that they do not have access to government’s loans.

According to them each time they try to get loan from government, they are asked to bring their business portfolios which is impossible for them.

On government’s move to have young s3x workers out of business, they said it is unfair to take them out and leave them with nothing.

According to them, government should consider to provide them with support before dragging them out for them to continue supporting their families.
