Financial constrains have forced the ministry of foreign affairs to withdraw recruitment of 32 Foreign Service officers.
This is according to an internal memo seen by this publication signed by the ministry’s director of Human Resource Manager and development Hendrix A.D. Tonde.
According to Tonde, the ministry made a submission to Civil Service Commission to fill 32 vacant positions of Foreign Service Officers (Grade I).
Despite being granted the authority to recruit the ministry has withdrawn the process citing financial constraints and shortage of office space.
According to Tonde, the ministry has withdrawn the recruitment process of the positions until further notice.
