Rainbow Paints on Saturday conducted training for painters and sign writers with the aim to share the latest trend in the paint industry.
Speaking during the training at Heritage by Serendib Hotel in Blantyre, Rainbow Paints technical and production executive Geoffrey Zuliyani said the training will bring improve painters’ and sign writers’ knowledge of the firm’s products.

“We hope through this training, the painters will produce quality finishes that will bring maximum value to clients as well as share knowledge with other paint users and clients which will bring value addition to the business.
Zuliyani further said the company is committed to finding solutions that will help the industry close the year on a high note despite the economic challenges in the country.
On his part, one of the trainees Moffat Chinangwa said the training will help them learn how they can use the new products.
He said: “We are planning to register an association for painters and sign writers. This will help us have one voice when addressing challenged affecting our industry. We face many challenges in this industry, including clients refusing to pay for services at the end of the project.”
