Two people have died in Rumphi after a motorcycle they were riding collided with a motor vehicle at Bolero.

Rumphi police station spokesperson Sergeant Tupeliwe Kabwilo has confirmed of the accident in an interview with the press.

According to Kabwilo, the accident happened at a place called Nkhozo
The deceased have since been identified as Wezzie Gondwe Kalinyungu 27 and Lucia Gondwe 47.

The driver of the vehicle is currently on the run.
