Anti-government demonstrators have presented their petition at the Blantyre District Commissioner’s office with a call to President Lazarus Chakwera to rise to the occasion to curb the ongoing corruption in the country.

One of the lead organizers of the demonstrations, Joshua Chisa Mbele said the self-enrichment must stop.

Blantyre DC’s representative, Hastings Dowe said will forward the petition to relevant authorities.

In Zomba, well-known comedian Bon Kalindo led protesters to present a petition to the District Commissioner.
