Today, concerned citizens under the banner Action Against Impunity and Corruption le by social commentator Joshua Chisa Mbele are holding demonstrations in Blantyre and Zomba.

Democratic Progressive Party councillor for Soche East Ward Leonard Chimbanga and Mulhako wa Alhomwe Chairperson for the Southern Region Blessings Makwinja are also taking part in the Blantyre demonstrations.

The demonstrations are aiming at forcing government to address socio economic challenges that are rocking the country and rampant corruption.
