The Catholic Archdiocese of Lilongwe, in conjunction with Centenary Rural Development Group Limited from Uganda, is planning to purchase 100 per cent shareholding in MyBucks Banking Corporation.

The consortium is, meanwhile, applying for relevant regulatory approvals to finalize the process.
Centenary Rural Development Group Limited is the largest microfinance bank in Uganda.

The initiative is a brainchild of Archbishop George Desmond Tambala of the Archdiocese of Lilongwe.
