FND asks ACB to investigate Chakwera’s son embroiled in MK750 million pharmacy scandal

Forum for National Development has asked the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) to investigate Nicky Chakwera the first son to President Dr Lazarus Chakwera who is accused of purchasing two well-known pharmacies.

Chakwera’s son is suspected of purchasing two pharmacy chain stores, Maula Pharmacy in Lilongwe at K1 Billion and unnamed Pharmacy in Blantyre at K750 Million.

In letter signed by FND National Coordinator Fryson Chodzi, the grouping wants to clear the rumours linking Chakwera’s son on the matter.
