Namadingo in Mother’s Day treat

Tomorrow is Mother’s Day. To cap it, musician Patience Namadingo will on Sunday perform at a Mother’s Day gala night at Sunbird Mount Soche in Blantyre.

Organisers City Side Media and Namadingo’s manager James Makunje have confirmed the stage is set for Sunday evening for the Lusaka-based artist to perform.

Makunje promised patrons a captivating performance as he has not performed in Blantyre this year.

“People can expect an unmissable evening on the backdrop of the artist’s favourites,” he said.

He said mothers are irreplaceable pillars of strength in all families and they deserve to be pampered and loved not only on Mother’s Day but all year round.

“Events like these provide people with an avenue to do something unique, get dressed up and enjoy an intimate classy evening,” he added.

On his part, City Side Media special events coordinator Petros Kubwalo said this is a special treat to pay homage to the mother figure in families.

“It is a day to honour that sister, auntie, mother, granny and all women. We want to create an extraordinary experience,” he said.

He added that apart from food and cocktails, there will also be a panel discussion, as well as a talk on mental health by Mwai Wilima.

“To cap it, there is a raffle draw where winners will get matresses from Robray Limited and meals from Kips Restaurant,” said Kubwalo.
